Missed, Late and Cancelled Lessons
A missed lesson is considered a class either cancelled without 24 hours notice or a class that has not shown up. These lessons will be charged a full class fee. Any students missing more then two times in a row will be in jeopardy of losing their time slot.
A cancelled lesson is 24 hours notice or more or cancelled by the class teacher. These classes will be credited to your account. Students are allowed no more than TWO self-cancelled/missed classes within a Three-month period (Oct-Dec, Jan-Mar, Apr-June). Any classes missed/cancelled afterwards will be charged a normal class rate.
Due to the fact that our classes are scheduled back to back we are unable to make up time for students who arrive more than 10 minutes late for their lesson. This will be considered a missed class and no refund will be given.

Payment and Withdrawal Policies
Cash, Cheque or E-transfer will be accepted during the FIRST week of the month. The first 8 weeks of fees are non-refundable.
Late Fee: There will be a late fee of 5% per week for all payments not made within the first full week of classes in the month.
Should you wish to withdraw from a class, one month (4 class) is required to discontinue lessons. In order for a refund to be given, notice of the withdrawal must be given by email.
Songbird Studios reserves the right to terminate lessons to any student without notice. In such a case, a refund for unused lessons will be given.

Shutdown Policies
Classes that are changed to online due to government shut down or direction from the Ontario Health network will not be given a refund or credit. Classes will be moved to the online platform and the cancellation policy of 4 weeks notice will apply.
